Perfect waters for a baptism dive
Located in the Lagos Region, in Rio de Janeiro, Armação dos Búzios is an eight-kilometer long peninsula with more than 20 beaches making up its coastline. It receives both the sea currents from the equator and the south pole, which is why we have beaches with warm and cold waters. The region has a very rich and diversified marine life due to the upwelling phenomenon, which is the presence of icy ocean currents coming from the south, responsible for bringing rich nutrients. This attracts different types of schools, stingrays, turtles, which are seen frequently and in large numbers here and not rarely large fish, dolphins, moonfish, orcas and humpback whales. All this makes Búzios one of the best places to take a baptism dive.
